What Is A Javascript Error?
If you were to be able to access the internet that existed ten years ago, you’d likely be shocked. Back then most of the information you could find online was text information with a few pictures thrown in. Now, however, websites are supposed to be flashy and constantly moving. Fixing A Javascript Error
Quite often the common cause of a Javascript error is a popup blocker. As computers and the internet have gotten more advanced, so has the anti-virus software, One of the most useful pieces of anti-virus software is the popup blocker. This stops those annoying little ads that pop up when you’re visiting a website. The popup blocker isn’t just to save you from annoyance, but is also to help you to avoid getting any viruses, malware or adware, as these pop up ads tend to be goads for these types of programs. If you are getting a Javascript error and you have a popup blocker enabled, head to your anti-virus software site and change the preferences in your popup blocker. This should help you to get rid of the Javascript error.
You may also have Javascript error disabled in your browser. This often happens and can be fixed very easily. Simply find the security option in the tools menu of your internet server and enable the Javascript option. This should get rid of any Javascript errors that you are receiving. Or you may find that you simply have an old version of Java. It may be because you weren’t able to do a complete uninstall of a program, or for a variety of reasons. If you have tried all of the above solutions to get rid of your Javascript error, you might have this problem. One surefire way to know is to see how your computer is running. If your computer is running much more slowly than it has been running before, or if it seems to take much longer for Windows to start up or to open up a link that you’re trying to see, you might have a corrupt registry. The solution to this problem is a bit more convoluted and can take much more time, which is why it is important to try all of the other easier solutions first.
Getting a Javascript error can be something that is simply annoying, or it can point to something serious. It is your job to determine which the problem is so that you can know if it should be fixed or just ignored.
